Point Events – Point events must be announced to members with at least a 30 day advance notice, be in an MT or EMT, and be announced at least one Thirstday. This can include The MT, EMT, E-mail, Web Page, or Thirstdays.

What does a Buddy do? A buddy explains to the event organizer how to put an event together, supplies the organizer with the “event list guidelines”, etc. We decided that the “buddy” is responsible to run the event should the selected event organizer back out. The buddy should be involved as a back-up in the event planning throughout the life of the event.

MT Deadline – Bored members discussed the importance of getting all pertinent information to the Secretary / Editor by the deadline date. This will include all ads, articles from members, and upcoming events which include social, charity, community and environmental affairs.

With the success of last years summer raffle (Bose System / Airline Tickets), Paul Somerville will begin to look into prizes for the raffle for this summer. In conjunction with looking into prizes for a raffle, Paul S. has accepted the “presidents challenge” to run a “your choice of” raffle during our busy period (May, June, July) this year.

Club Stuff – Paul Somerville will be the “Keeper of the Banners”. A master list of all PHCOEM banners will be collected by Paul. If possible, this will include older banners with logos from past years.

The Bored discussed Al Mosier being the Club Historian. Al offered to collect data from the clubs inception and contribute articles to the MT.

The Bored will be looking into assisting Habitat for Humanity. Kathy Werner will attend an informational meeting and supply The Bored with any pertinent information.

PHCOEM Web Page – Jim Spaulding is in the process of updating the Web Page format.

Parrot Head License Plates – Paul Somerville will look into legislature regarding the possibility of Parrot Head License Plates. This was recently done in Virginia.
