h. Regimental trains. (1) COMPOSITION. The regimental train consists of the vehicles and oper- ating personnel of the transportation platoon of the service company and the vehicles and operating personnel of the regimental medical detachment. Regimental trains are classified by function as:
Kitchen and baggage train.
AMMUNITION TRAIN. (a) The ammuni-
tion train comprises the train vehicles and operating personnel used to transport ammunition for all units of the regiment. The ammunition train is usually divided into three battalion sections.
(b) Ammunition train vehicles may be allotted to designated units or be pooled. (See par. 21.) While under regimental control, they are commanded by the munitions officer. (See par. 23b.)
