special program meetings. We currently have three PBA’s on staff and are working to put together a 360vu Team. In addition, our staff have attended special training sessions on the Edgerton Quality Award, ASQ’s ISO 900-14000 & ISO 9000-2000, Lean Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints, Reporting and Evaluation. Training plans for Center Staff are geared specifically to improve the quality and proficiency of staff. In addition, Nebraska MEP administrative operations is ISO 9000-2000 registered.
Staff training is also accomplished during monthly staff meetings. During the next year special emphasis will be devoted to specialized sales training and executive coaching.
The NMEP has recently completed its center-wide strategic planning session. The MEP Strategic Planning Timeline and Goals centered on six major areas: Administration (accounting, third-party agreements, human resources); Information Technology (data base, project reporting, follow-up); Training; Client Development, Service Delivery; and Product Development.
The Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership Budget for the tenth program years is indicated in the Appendix Section.
