AARP Multicultural Survey July 2001
Asian Americans born oversees are more apt (51%) to report having taken time away from their jobs and having reduced the number of hours they work so they can care for other family members. Others have enlisted the aid family members (33%), reduced work hours at their jobs (21%), or hired an aide, nanny, nurse, maid or other help (16%). Interestingly, there is no gender gap in this regard.
