3.18Inspections

Randolph County reserves the right to inspect all materials furnished for conformity with the specifications.

3.19Non-Collusion

By executing and submitting this bid, the Bidder certifies that his bid is made without reference to any other bid and without any agreement, understanding, collusion or combination with any other person in reference to such bidding.  As evidence this specification is being followed, the Anti-Collusion Affidavit  shall be completed and included in the RFB.

3.20Warranty

The successful bidder shall provide manufacturer warranty coverage for the ambulance or rescue vehicle conversion, which coverage shall, at a minimum include:

(A)

A Limited Warranty on the ambulance conversion: Forty-eight (48) months or 48,000 miles from date of original purchase.

(B)

Paint: Seven (7) years from date of original purchase.

(C)

Electrical: Six (6) years or 72,000 miles from date of original purchase.

(D)

Modular Body Structural Integrity: Fifteen (15) years from date of original purchase.

(E)

Chassis: warranty on the chassis portion of the completed ambulance or rescue vehicle shall be the responsibility of the chassis manufacturer.

The manufacturer shall warrant to the original retail purchaser, for the warranty period that the ambulance or rescue vehicle shall be free of substantial defects in materials and workmanship, which are attributed to Warrantor and which arise during the course of normal use and service.  Copies of the of the Warranty Statements shall be included with the bid documents.

3.21Taxes

Taxes should not be included in the bid quotations for any hardware or software. Any sales tax items should be listed as a separate item at time of invoicing.
