Inoculate the swab on blood agar. Incubate the plate preferably anaerobically at 350 –
overnight (if for the isolations of S. aureus only, incubate aerobically).
Inoculate the swab over the entire surface of a plate of
charcoal cephalexin blood agar (CCBA).
