Examples of secretary diarrhea
V.cholerae and E.T.E.Coli cause diarrhea by production of an enterotoxin which activates the adenylcyclase of enterocytes to increase the cyclic AMP (CAMP) level, leading into increased secretion and decreased absorption of fluids and electrolytes in the intestinal wall.
