Take the wire off the dowel, and snip the short end of the wire to leave at least two rings.
To create hangers for the objects, create a hook at both ends of a length of wire, using round- or flat-nose pliers depending on how sharp you want the angle of the hook to be.
Trim the long, straight end of the wire to the length you want it to hang, then create a small hook on the end. Create as many additional photo holders as you desire.
Another way to hang something is to drill a hole in it, just large enough to accommodate the wire, insert the wire through the hole, and then hammer the end of it flat to spread it, making it too wide to come back through the hole. (Fold the wire on each side of the object to hang.) Create a hook on the opposite end.
