1. Sporting Regulations - General
1.1 Title & Jurisdiction:
The Lackford Engineering MG Midget Challenge is organised and administered by the MG Car Club (MGCC) in accordance with the General Regulations of the Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Codes of the FIA) and these Championship Regulations.
MSA Championship Permit No CH2011/R095 Race Status: National 'B' Race.
MSA Championship Grade: C
1.2 - Officials:
1.2.1 - Co-ordinator: L Quinn
1.2.2 – Licenced Eligibility Scrutineer: D F D Smith
1.2.3 - Championship Stewards: P Best, M Chittenden, C Stancombe.
1.3 - Competitor Eligibility:
1.3.1 - Entrants must be fully paid up valid membership card holding members
of the MGCC and in possession of a valid 2011 MSA Entrants licence.
1.3.2 - Drivers and Entrant/Drivers must be fully paid up valid membership card holding members of the MGCC , be registered for the Championship and be in possession of valid Competition (Racing) National 'B' minimum licence, or be a professional driver in possession of a valid Licence (featuring the EU flag) and medical, issued by the ASN of a member country of the European Union.
A competitor shall not take time off school to participate in motor sport without the prior written approval of their school. If participation in the Championship requires absence from school, drivers in full time education are required to have the approval of their head teacher and a letter stating such approval from his/her school in order to fulfil registration for the Championship.
1.3.3 - All necessary documentation must be presented for checking at all rounds when signing-on.
1.3.4 - ROAD GOING CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP - (Group C):
A reasonable level of personal sponsorship is allowed.
Any non-official sponsorship advertising on competing cars is limited to the front wings and boot lid areas only.
All Classes:- The official Championship decals are mandatory and must be carried in the pre-designated or otherwise agreed areas to entitle entry to the race start grid and score Championship points.
Any advertising permitted in other race series written on the vehicle must be solidly and totally obliterated prior to and during practice and the race.
All drivers must register as competitors for the championship by returning the Registration Form with the Registration Fee to the Co-ordinator prior to the Final Closing date for the first round being entered.
1.4.2 The Registration Fee is £100 - Made payable to: The Midget Competition Group.
1.4.3 Registrations will be accepted from 1st January 2011 until 1st October 2011.
1.4.4 Registration numbers will be the permanent Competition numbers for the Championship.
