A.2.5Error Handling

The initial implementation of the IMR will not follow the error handling model described for SOAP Fault and Post Response. The IMR will undertake all SOAP and Post Response error handling at the SOAP level.

A.3ACORD Versions Upgrade

A.3.1INTRODUCTION

Xchanging and Brokers, who are both early DRI implementers, are using the 2004.1 version of the ACORD RLC standard, AMS version 1.1.0 and DRI version 1.0.1 in live production use.  A formal request has been made to Xchanging to upgrade these standards to RLC 2005.2, and DRI 1.2 and AMS 1.4.

A.3.2KEY DIFFERENCES

The differences between the standards that are of prime interest to the A&S and ECF projects are as follows:

RLC 2004.1 to RLC 2005.2:ClaimEntry

Placing Exchange (Not material to this project)

Upgraded A45 table of error codes

DRI 1.0.1 to DRI 1.2:No material differences

AMS 1.1.0 to AMS 1.4:Security profile code (must be completed with the code that indicates basic security profile is used)

The following changes do not need to be implemented at this point;
