For all calls made from and received using the Optus Digital Mobile Service, you will be charged at rates according to the relevant pricing plan you select and your charges are listed in your bill under GSM digital cellular mobile charges.
For all calls made from and received using the Thuraya Satellite Service, your charges will be listed in your bill separately under “Optus Thuraya” for domestic satellite calling and under “Roaming (International Roaming)” for calls made overseas.
The service provides service outside of Australia at rates according to your relevant pricing plan.
For all Optus Digital Mobile Service calls made outside Australia, standard Roaming charges apply for GSM digital cellular usage in the applicable country, as set out in Appendix J.
All service and usage charges made using the service within Australia and its territories are subject to GST charges.
What happens if the service is cancelled early?
If the service is cancelled before expiry of the minimum term you will be required to pay us a cancellation fee and any other amounts you owe us.

What do I need to connect to the service?
To be able to connect to the service, you need a specific Optus ‘Satellite’ SIM card which we will provide you. You cannot use any other type of Optus SIM card.
Who owns the Optus ‘Satellite’ SIM card?
We own the Optus ‘Satellite’ SIM card and it remains our property at all times.
