Similarly, fire accidents are a common occurrence in the urban and industrial areas also.
The Fire Department in the state has planned to modernize the department and equip itself with
required number of Rescue Tenders and Advanced Rescue Tenders, which are in shortage right now. Necessary resources are being made available to Fire Department for purchase of the same. The Fire Services Training Institute, Unnao, has been made the Nodal Institute for the training in the area of Search & Rescue Operations and the institute is being strengthened by dovetailing resources of CRF and the fund
