Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod April Vacation & Field Trips

April School Vacation is almost here and the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod is available to help  keep your child busy and active over the school vacation week!  There are field trips and special activities planned for them all week to keep them occupied and safe while parents work. The Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod will be open from 8:30am until 5:30 pm for all Cape Cod children during the school vacation week.

In addition to regular Club activities during the week, children can go on staff supervised field trips to 5 very special places.  Trips fill up quickly and parents are urged to sign their kids up early to ensure a spot on the trip of their choice.

On Monday April 16 the Club will be taking a trip to go   Mini Golfing at Pirate's Cove and will stop to let the kids eat their lunch at local playground.  The bus will leave the Club at 10 am and return at 3 pm.  Cost of the trip is $10 and includes transportation and 18 holes of golf.  Kids should bring a lunch and extra money for snacks.

On Tuesday, April 17 the Club will be taking kids to a performance of Stuart Little at Harwich Junior Theater. The bus will leave the Club at 12:30 and return at 5:00. Cost is $18 and includes transportation and admission.  Children should bring extra money for snacks.

On Wednesday April 18 we will take the kids to the Big Apple Circus.  The bus will leave the Club at 10:45 and return at 5:00.  The cost is $25.00 and includes transportation and admission.  Kids should bring a lunch and extra money if they want snacks or souvenirs.

On Thursday, April 19 the Club will be taking a bus load of kids to the Carabineer’s Indoor Climbing Gym, one of the world's largest indoor rock climbing gyms located in New Bedford.  The bus will leave the Club at 11:30 and will return at 4:30 PM.  Cost for the bus and admission is $30.   Children must be 8 or older to go on this trip and Carabineer’s requires additional paperwork and a photo ID from a parent.

On Friday, April 20 the Club will be taking a group to the Mashpee Commons Cinema to watch a G-rated movie. The cost is $7 which covers admission.  Children should bring extra for popcorn or snacks.  The group will walk over to the movies at about 12:30 PM and children should dress for the weather.

Field Trips are open to any child ages 6 and over on Cape Cod, with the exception of the trip to the Carabineer’s Climbing Gym,  and are supervised by the staff of the Boys & Girls Club.  Children must be, or become, members of the Club
