We received generous hosting from our sponsors for the activities scheduled for

Thursday June 21, 2007.  Our intent was to promote the Kings Point experience to prospective Midshipmen & their families.  These activities were an excellent opportunity for the T/V Kings Pointer Midshipmen to experience the Baltimore Maritime Community and career opportunities.  Prospective Midshipmen benefited by sharing this "hands-on" experience with these elite Midshipmen.”

Transportation and luncheon were provided by The Maritime Institute of Technology & Graduate Studies – Glen Paine ’78 – Executive Director, MITAGS / CCMIT / PMI.

Our Midshipmen, alumni and guests enjoyed a great day of tours under sunny summer skies!

We also thank MITAGS for a great luncheon and for filming provided by Maritime TV.

We are grateful to our hosts for providing a priceless learning opportunity, including:

Michael J. Schneider (KP ’61)- Chairman, Project Liberty Ship

Scott Winfield (KP ’91)- Chief Engineer, General Dynamics, American Overseas Marine

Captain Michael Murphy (KP ’88)- General Dynamics, American Overseas Marine

Captain Robert Becker (KP ’78) – Business Development Manager, MITAGS
