MIB’s dedicated learning and development provision will be expanding this year to offer innovative learning opportunities and the establishment of an MIB e-Academy.
Learning and development for all staff at MIB is key in enabling the business to succeed and maintaining a ‘centre of excellence’. For this to happen learning has to become a natural part of what we do in order to develop and maintain good practice in staff.
This planned addition to MIB’s dedicated learning and development provision will act as an online platform for learning accessible by staff across the company. The e-Academy will provide staff with leading edge learning, giving them the opportunity to bridge any gaps in their knowledge, and support MIB as a learning organisation and an employer of choice through enhanced job satisfaction.
The system provides efficient training for all MIB employees and access means learning can happen when appropriate
and suitable. Providing online flexible learning opportunities has to be a priority to ensure minimum impact on operational performance and success. The new e-Academy will provide consistent and flexible learning for all members of staff, offering professionally written courses covering management, technical and general skills.
Individuals and managers will have the chance to monitor personal development activity providing support for personal development plans unique to each staff member. The e-Academy will be launched to the business this Spring.
