Marie Arjomand Field House Liaison, Tree Sale, Website, Yearbook. Transitioning her knowledge as last year’s PTA president, budget work, website updates, teacher appreciation breakfast, incredible support, and always being there for us.
Rebecca Becker & Kem Lee Health & Wellness. Preparing and coordinating our Health & Wellness activities for the year — creating new, exciting and healthy ideas for our students.
Elizabeth Brewer Helping with organizing, marketing, and planning for the October Lion’s Pride Dona- tions event. Taking on Team Traffic by planning for carpool volunteers and safety of our children while we did not have a chair.
Stephanie Brown & Molly Mears 5th Grade Representatives. Working hard on preparing the plans for our 5th Graders last year at E. Rivers with fun and activities and the end of the year celebration (graduation) starting with the car wash on 8/28.
Carla Caldwell Teacher Appreciation. Hosting the teacher and staff breakfast during pre-planning — thank you for picking up items along with working on the set-up and clean-up.
Tara Campbell & Leigh Perkins Hospitality. Providing refreshments for our “Coffee & Kleenex” event and helping at the membership table at the Celebration of Learning.
Danica Diget Movie Afternoon (grades 3-5). Organizing the first movie afternoon of the year.
Caroline Echols, Elizabeth Meredith, Tess Seydel & Anna Patton Lion’s Pride. Organize, market and plan for the October Lion’s Pride event.
Kathy Gentry Helping both Traffic and Welcome Desk every Thursday morning.
Carole Glickman Volunteer/Room Parent Coordinator. Offering to co-chair this committee, focusing on the Room Parents.
Jen Gordon Lion’s Calling Students Directory & Database. Entering membership information into our new software that will be used for the school directory.
Chip Gross & Russ Blauser Dads Committee. Organizing a new PTA committee and helping out on Fridays, and being ‘type-a’ dads!
Adrienne Hardesty & Meredith Minne Gift Wrap. Preparing for our first fund raiser (rolled out to the students, parents, teachers & staff during meetings and assemblies) — decorating the bulletin board and display table for the gift wrap event — organizing give-aways for gift wrap incentives.
Sarah Tranakos Howe Community Service. Preparing for the Coins for Clown Hop and Whirl with the Health and Wellness Committee.
Kelly Hunt Training at the Georgia PTA Conference. Working on the 2010-2011 budget, organizing committee information and being a great vice-president.Claudia Jackson Distribution. Preparing fliers and documents for distribution (a huge help for all the Chairs and teachers).
Molly Jackson Secretary. Preparing for the PTA Board and General Meetings by setting up distribu- tion lists, printing name tags, recording meeting minutes, and being a great support.
Dana Kapustka Spirit Apparel. Organizing newly branded spirit apparel (creative displays, set-up and order forms) — putting in a great amount of energy by being at each event making sure our students and parents have an opportunity to purchase their spirit wear.
Cris Krachon Concession Stand. Getting ready for the Fall season – stepping up to help with Movie Afternoon as we look for chairs.
Jennifer Lauren Volunteer/Room Parent Coordinator. Preparing the PTA Volunteer list to inform you of all the fun and rewarding opportunities there are for involvement at E. Rivers.
Helena Llano-Marin E-Mail Blasts, Lion’s Roar, & 5th Grade Rep. Translation of the Lion’s Roar newsletter into Spanish — collection of contact information for e-mail distribution of the Lion’s Roar and E. Blasts — translating new forms for membership, volunteering, committee descriptions – helping the membership team.

Margaret Mertens Grandparents Day. Helping out with membership.
Beth Ryan Cultural Arts. Preparing and scheduling for all the upcoming events for our students and making a presentation at the general membership meeting.
Jamie Smock Welcome Desk - Preparing the Welcome Desk for the school year by seeking out volunteers and working hard at the desk by assisting our students and parents.
Jason Shepherd Preparing Publix Partner cards to go out in the Friday folder and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Elizabeth Spangler Cultural Arts. Preparing and scheduling for all the upcoming events for our students and making a presentation at the general membership meeting – helping with the Gift Wrap presentation.
Jackie Stapleton Cleaning up and organizing the stage closet so things can be found again.
Pamela Watson Native Plant Garden & Science. Preparing for upcoming events pertaining to our science class – helping with membership at the Celebration of Learning.
Debbie Whitlock Treasurer. Volunteering to serve our school as PTA Treasurer, assist with 2009-2010 budget by serving on the budget committee, researching and purchasing tools to help manage the budget, directory, and volunteers, making the budget easy to review - also for providing guidance with the directory.

Thank you to many for filling in the gaps by helping with The Celebration of Learning, New Parent Information Meeting, Coffee & Kleenex, Open House, Traffic & Carpool and more. We could not have made it happen without you! We also would like to thank Chip Gross, Lou Topfl, Marie Arjomand, David White, and Sabrina Hayes who have been a real source of help and encouragement as the school year approached, along with the support of the administration staff Ms. Duffy and Ms. Motin, and Ms. Montufar and Mr. Golden from Maintenance.
