Leading architecture and design rms lend their visionary talents to “Design Beyond”—a series of installations representing the future of hospitality and healthcare design. Interior Design magazine will bring a collaboration of talent from the top design and architecture rms to a new program entitled Design Beyond. Design Beyond is an installation of model hotel rooms of the future as envisioned by the rms selected to produce the vignettes. e rooms will be appointed with products from various exhibitors to the INSPIREDESIGN event.
An additional element associated with the show will be an Excellence in Design competition also sponsored by Interior Design magazine.
Attendees to the show will nd world- class manufacturers such as Kohler and Crypton represented, as well as elegant European contemporary indoor and out- door furniture, ne art, luxurious bedding and more. Prepare to be inspired at the newest design show in North America.

Design and the Aging Population
Join IIDA’s panel of experts as they explore the latest trends in senior living as expressed through a variety of communi- ties. Operational feasibility and market acceptance have caused necessary innovation and the incorporation of many elements of hospitality design in communities that house and care for an aging population. More than a trend, this is marketplace reality and affects multiple models of care from branding to the bottom-line. We will explore commonly accepted beliefs about the aging community and challenge traditional design thinking about these spaces.
“Technology and Design” Panel Discussion This panel will focus on the task owners, purchasers and design- ers have in adapting their designs around the rapidly advancing introductions of guestroom technology.
