At its 32nd (Quebec City, 2008) and 33rd (Seville, 2009) sessions, the World Heritage Committee requested the State Party to submit a state of conservation report for the property. In addition, requests were made for a management plan, approved buffer zones, improved legal and institutional mechanisms for the property, and a draft Statement of

Committee

At its 33rd session, the Committee has already expressed its regret that the State Party has not provided a state of conservation report for the property. In the absence for the second consecutive year of the state of conservation report from the State Party and the lack of any indication that the recommendations of the 2007 reactive monitoring mission have been implemented, the World Heritage Centre and Advisory Bodies are seriously concerned over the state of conservation of the property.
