John and Young Kim, owners of the Mobil Station at 1185 W. Park Ave. in Libertyville, worked with school officials to secure the grant which is one of 4,000 available to schools across the country served by Exxon or Mobil stations.  The grants are made possible by funding from the ExxonMobil Corporation, and are designed to provide its retailers with an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities.

The LHS flag football all-star team was recognized on the field at half-time of the Chicago Bears home game on Nov. 9.
