Ludvig Grima(1 day, 15 hours ago) I like the new location of the Monti - this will mean that it will be just a short walk from the park and ride, and I wont need to tag along my purchases back to the car... anyway I think the bastions deserve better...

Joseph M. Meli(1 day, 15 hours ago) Last nail to the COFFIN of Valletta on a Sunday.

May you Rest in Peace Valletta. C Cassar(1 day, 15 hours ago) The new changes will mean that we will actually start to visit Valletta. Right now, the market is an embarrassment - full of cheap, badly made (and often conterfeit) rubbish.

The bus terminus move is also fantastic together with the new entrance , opera house and parliament. Change is good, it keeps the city fresh. It's been very stale up until now.

Joe Spiteri (1 day, 14 hours ago) C Cassar you are in the minority that supports the city gate without a gate, a parliament on stilts as used by circus clowns to remind us of what parliament has been reduced to under Gonzipn, and to cap it all a roofless theatre. Keep on dreaming Cassar. Next election will kick Gonzipn out.

C Cassar(1 day, 13 hours ago) No dreaming necessary. The long awaited revamp of Valletta is happening for real whether you like it or not. Looks like the majority wanted the new Valletta since the majority voted for the current party in power - fact.

C. Farrugia(1 day, 16 hours ago) Viva il-Progress.....desecration of trees presumably hundreds of years old....and now booting the traditional Monti out of the way. It should have been given an alternative place in Valletta. Perhaps in Merchants Street in place of the weekly one, albeit with more space upwards towards Castille. No longer a one-bus ride into Valletta for the Sunday morning outing for many. One less tourist attraction too.... Hope this move is temporary, or is Valletta turning into a place *only for the Elite*?

Christopher Mamo(1 day, 16 hours ago) Tackiness and Baroque didn't mix well anyway!

Luke Buttigieg(1 day, 15 hours ago) Good one!
