The new Leaf EE Center is located within a 125 acre farm and woodland property in Somerset County, adjacent to the Delaware-Raritan Canal and Colonial Park. Habitat includes cedar filled old field and dominant woodland growth of oak, hickory and pine; the lowlands include maple, box elder and elm. Girls will be directly involved in activities that arouse their curiosity, as they develop skills of observation, discover the wonders of the environment and build an appreciation of natural communities through hands-on activities.
