proceedings. She also resolves disputes for her clients through negotiation, arbitration and

mediation. She advises clients on a wide range of employment issues including hiring and

firing practices, non-compete agreements, employee handbooks, wage and hour issues,

privacy rights, Family and Medical Leave Act, executive compensation issues and

discrimination. Ms. Kimball is active in the Boston Bar Association, where she was elected

as a Member of the Council of the BBA (2005-2008). She is a member of the Labor and

Employment Law Steering Committee, and a former Co-Chair of the BBA’s Solo and Small

Firm Section. Ms. Kimball also Chaired the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Labor and

Employment Section Council and Co-Chaired the MBA Committee that drafted the MCAD’s

Maternity Leave Guidelines. Ms. Kimball has lectured and written widely on employment

law topics, including co-authoring the “Employment Law 101” chapter of Winning Legal

Strategies for Employment Law (Aspatore Books 2005). Ms. Kimball was named

Massachusetts Super Lawyer by Boston Magazine in 2006. Ms. Kimball received her B.A.

from Yale College cum laude and her J.D. from George Washington University, where she

was Editor in Chief of The George Washington Law Review. She clerked for Chief Judge

Spottswood W. Robinson III of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of

Columbia Circuit.
