Thank you for allowing me to judge the Canine Good Citizen Test at the Nationals this year. The test was held on the Wolf River Game Farm in Shiocton, Wisconsin. Several club members volunteered to assist with the test. These volunteers made the test interesting and fun as they played the part of the crowd and the distraction.

There were three entrants and all three passed the CGC: Sharilee Malik and Mountain Star Wind of Miriah, Holly Trimberger and Bailey, and Linda Ford and 9 month old puppy, California Crystal Ball. The handlers did a great job working their dogs through the tests. The tests are designed to demonstrate the dog is a good canine citizen for walks in the neighborhood, visiting a groomer or veterinarian, appropriately meeting other dogs and appropriately meeting other people. Congratulations to all three teams.
