expedition survived.

After the films, we took the trolley though Mobile’s downtown historic district. We had a late lunch at Wintzell’s Oyster House on Dauphine Street (caught happy hour—cheap oysters!!), toured the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, stopped at specialty shops for gourmet chocolates and fresh roasted peanuts, then back to the cars, and on to Pensacola.

The British Motoring Club ended up with 16 cars entered in the 2004 Pensacola Beach Bash, with 13 winners.§
