FIELD QUALITY CONTROL
Retain this Article if field testing and inspecting are required. Revise paragraph below if Contractor engages agency.
Testing: Owner will engage a qualified independent testing and inspecting agency to perform field tests and inspections.
Field welds will be subject to visual inspections and non-destructive testing in accordance with ASTM E165 or ASTM E709.
Testing agency will report test results promptly and in writing to Contractor and Architect.
Repair or remove and replace work that does not comply with specified requirements.
