We strongly recommend that you visit us for a personal presentation (if possible), or discuss the details with us by telephone or email. We have personally visited all the mentioned lodges and many others beside – if you are interested in any other locations please telephone to discuss!
Guide prices are per person per night in US Dollars and are full board, including park fees, except where shown. They are all priced in PEAK season, though exclude any Christmas supplements. These are the rates that are advertised by the lodges themselves thus any booking made with us is no more expensive than dealing with the lodges direct although we make the process far easier and all bookings are covered by our ATOL bond. The price of the international flights are about £500 or $800 from London (flights are direct but exact price is dependent on season) and the various internal flights most of which are shown below:
*********Please note that, with the world doing what it is doing at the moment, a few of the lodges are now offering specials and so this will effect the prices below…..please ask us!!!***********
Dar / Zanzibar to Selous$180
Selous to Ruaha$270
Ruaha to Dar / Zanzibar$330
Dar / Zanzibar to Arusha$250
Arusha to Serengeti $250
An ideal location for a short, stand-alone safari (3-5 nights), or as a combination with Ruaha, or the Northern Circuit. Selous offers game viewing by foot and boat as well as from open sided vehicles (and has the extra pluses of fishing and other activities). Particularly good for lion, leopard, riverine animals, and big herds. The park is so large that one will almost never see tourists from other lodges. Easily accessible by air from Dar, Zanzibar and Arusha.
8 enormous rooms newly refurbished to a very, very high standard, in private locations away from the rest of the lodges. Not a riverfront location, though close to a lake for boating safaris. The “Crater Lodge” of the south…probably in the top 5 lodges in Africa at the moment!! “Fly-Camping” is a possibility.
Guide Price$875 * Recommended *
9 large permanent tents each with private veranda. Beautiful lake and very high standard of guiding, food and service. Swimming Pool and comfortable “look out” points. “Fly-Camping” is a possibility.
