The Fellow and Distinguished Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management recognize the outstanding professional achievement.
Applicants approved at the Oct. 11-12 Board meeting will be announced from the podium.
FASHRM is limited to current ASHRM members who have been members for a minimum of five years and who have achieved at least 75 contact hours of risk management continuing education, who have at least five years experience in a position with primary job responsibility for activities related to risk management and who meet all requirements in two of the contributions to the field categories (leadership, publishing and/or lecturing).
DFASHRM is limited to current ASHRM members who have been members for a minimum of 10 years and who have achieved at least 150 contact hours of risk management continuing education, who have at least 10 years experience in a position with primary job responsibilities related to risk management, and who have met all contributions to the field requirements (leadership, publishing and lecturing).

The Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) designation provides a credential that verifies, through testing, a broad-based knowledge of risk management.
