Setting Up Performance Measures

To view and modify targets as an Administrator, do the following:

  • 1.

    From the E-Business Intelligence Personal Homepage (PHP), navigate to Performance Management Framework (Full Access) > Performance Targets. The Performance Target Level Selection window appears.

  • 2.

    In the Performance Measure field, choose a performance measure that you want to view or modify targets for and choose the OK button.

  • 3.

    In the Dimension Level field, choose a dimension level combination that you want to view or modify targets for and choose the OK button.

  • 4.

    In the Business Plan field, choose the business plan. Targets can be set under a "Standard" business plan or an "Industry Benchmark" business plan. This allows users to monitor performance based on two sets of plans.

  • 5.

    If you use a function to calculate or retrieve the target value from the source data, then choose the Get Targets button. If a function has been set to compute the target, you can enter a number in the Targets field and override the computed target values.

  • 6.

    Modify the target value, tolerance range, and target owner for the performance measure by doing the following.

    • a.

      To edit a target that has already been defined, do the following:

      • Enable the check box next to the target that you want to change.

      • Choose the Update button.

      • Edit the target value, tolerance ranges, or target owners as required.

      • Choose the OK button to save your edits.

    • b.

      To update several targets at the same time, do the following:

      • Enable the check boxes next to the targets that you want to change.

      • Choose the Mass Update button.

      • Edit the target value, tolerance ranges, or target owners as required.

      • Choose the Apply button to update the edited fields for all of the targets.

      • Choose the OK button to save your edits.

    • c.

      To delete targets, do the following:

      • Enable the check boxes next to the targets that you want to delete.

      • Choose the Delete button to delete the rows.
