Setting Up Performance Measures

Setting Up the Personal Homepage

Users can setup the personal homepage (PHP) to display the values and targets for performance measures that they want to track. Each time an alert for a tracked performance measure is run, the actual and target value are updated on the PHP. Note that if alerts are not running then the homepage will not display the most recent measure values.

To set up the personal homepage to display PM Framework performance measures, do the following:

  • 1.

From the PHP add a performance measures portlet to the tab by doing the following:

    • a.

Choose the Edit icon on the tab then choose the Edit Content icon. The list of available portlets appears.

    • b.

Choose the Performance Measures portlet and use the arrow button to move it to the current region.

    • c.

      Choose the Done button.

  • 2.

On the Performance Measures portlet of the PHP, choose the Customize button.

  • 3.

Select the performance measures that you want to track. Note that this is a list of dimension level combinations for the performance measure that the user has security access to. Use the arrow button to move the performance measures to the Selected Performance Measures region and choose the Continue button.

  • 4.

For each performance measure in the Selected Performance Measures region, choose a business plan and dimensions. Enter a description for the performance measure and then choose the Display on Homepage button.

  • 5.

Choose the OK button to save your work.
