Baragwanathia

A genus of vascular plants from the Late Silurian, almost as old as Cooksonia.

An early lycopod, found so far only in Australia.

Had repeatedly branching stems, four to eight inches long, covered with long, needle-like leaves.

Sporangia sometimes grew along the stem.
