the big machine.

Eight years later, Caterpillar mo- dified the D10 and introduced the D11 with a weight of close to 100 tons. The current model is the Cat D11T with a power plant produ- cing 850 hp and a weight of 113 tons.

When the D11N was introduced in 1986, the old D9L Caterpillar dozer was re-named D10N, the D8L became the D9N and the D8N was introduced as a complete new model to round off the product of- ferings in the dozer production program.
