HWA 5-1: Socio-Autobiography Project

Purpose: To illustrate a basic understanding of sociological concepts as applied to the student’s social life.

Grade: This assignment is worth a maximum of 300 points.

Content (maximum of 250 points): In addition to the quality of the concepts and analysis presented—the minimum length is 20 pages (using 12 point font size) word processed—double-spaced—not handwritten. The margins are to be one inch, top, bottom, and on each side. Page one is a title page—page two begins the first full page of text. Page 15 is to be a full page of text. If photos, charts, graphs, etc. are included, this is BEYOND the minimum 20 pages.

Grammar, Spelling, and Sentence Structure (maximum of 50 points): Write in a formal style—using complete sentences and complete paragraphs (with at least two sentences per paragraph). Do not use contractions (such as aren’t, isn’t, don’t, etc.).
